This Privacy Policy applies to the website david-cauchi.com, its subdomains and linked portals (hereinafter ‘the Sites’) which are property of the artist. 

This Privacy Policy explains what information of yours will be collected by David Cauchi (hereinafter, ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘the Artist’) when you access the Sites, how the information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of information.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU?

We collect information about you when you register or otherwise provide your details or place an order for the Artist’s services. This information includes the following categories of information:-

Event details

We also collect information when you voluntarily provide feedback. Website usage information is collected using cookies, however, this information is only used to generate website statistics and is processed in anonymous format. This information will not be used by us for marketing purposes. 

HOW WILL WE USE THAT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?

We collect information about you to process your service request, and, if you agree, to email you about our services. 

If you agree to receive marketing, we shall record your details in our mailing list in order for you to receive information regarding the Artist’s activities.

We will never share or transfer your information to other companies for purposes other than the above, unless where we may be required by law to respond to a lawful request, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or where it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law.

HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN THAT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?

Customers’ information is retained for no longer than required having regard to the purpose and use of their data. For customers booking the Artist, their personal data will be required for the provision of the service and in accordance with the contractual obligation entered into by the Artist with the customer. This information will be kept for one year after the time when the service is rendered, provided that this period may be extended until required or permitted by law, or in the event of a legal dispute. 

Where customers register to receive marketing or voluntarily submit their feedback, including testimonials, this data will be processed with the customer’s consent and retained until such time when the customer withdraws consent or otherwise requests the deletion of data. In that case, all data shall be deleted except the evidence of the initial consent which will be retained until the time when legal action relating to it remains valid.
